Boomer8, what TFG thinks is really wrong. He accuses me for nothing. I didn't vandalize this wiki, why would I (one of the most caring and active user) vandalize the wiki? Hmm? I feel really accused for nothing.
Boomer, I got a question. Is it okay if I stay an admin and also stay active but don't edit that much? As I don't have any desire to ever be a Bcrat, so I thought it shouldn't be a problem. But in the past few days, I noticed users claiming that the wiki needs admins that can actually edit (i.e. Xal), though nowadays I don't browse the web that much as I used to back in the old days, that's why I don't get time to edit. I'm gonna be honest, I am free all the time, I just lost editing interest and want to just keep the wiki vandalism free instead.
Another point to be noted is that, if I leave, it might make a position for another immature member to enter that staff in the disguise of being mature (we've been there before), that's also a fact that almost stopped me from resigning.
So overall, my question is : Should I stay active as a "anti vandal" type of admin or resign for not being as active as Ali?
Awesome, I have no idea who bitched about you but you can't leave like this because of some radical opinion, you're a valuable user and even better than me, what makes you think that I am a better user than you? I mean, it's all in your head man. People, always tend to bitch about those who they can't stand but that doesn't make them honest or their opinion true. Stand tall and you're great man.
Listen Awesomeboy, it doesn't really matter if you edit pages or not. All that matters is that you're active enough to keep order and prevent vandalism on the wiki - that's an admin's job. I rarely edit pages myself unless if I see an error that needs correcting. I just make sure the wiki is running smoothly. But if you think that you're not active enough to perform your job properly then I'd suggest you to resign. You don't need to occupy a staff position just because you're worried who'll fill it. That's my job to worry about. So I want you to think if you're active enough to perform your job properly because I, myself don't see you much around the wiki that much.
And those immature users were demoted as a result until they learned their lesson; which they have.
So if you are fine with continuing your admin job (which you've assured me that you're active enough to do) then there's really nothing else to cover. All I'd like to say is that when you do log in, make sure you make at least one edit (to a page, forum post, comment, ect.) to prove that you were online on the wiki at that time. Otherwise there's no way to tell.
I believe that this wiki will go far. Leperchaun Wiki has only 14 pages, we can pass that. Also I will edit Wikia.css and Common.css, change the background and add some more stuff. But of course, with your permission.
Yeah go ahead. I'll give you admin rights right now. I created this wiki about over a year ago and it never gained much traction with users joining. I remember advertising it on Horror Films Wiki and I got a guy to help me with infoboxes but no new users. So if you could find anyone who would be willing to help that'd be great.
P.S. We already have surpassed Lererchaun Wiki with 18 pages.
Well, I'm proud of you Jim. I didn't think you'd actually do it. A bureaucrat vote will take place soon determining your fate on the wiki. I suggest you leave a statement here and I'll leave a link on the vote.
I've also gotten a new appreciation for the Staff and what they do on the Wiki. As with a few incidents that I've witnessed (including the one going on right now ._.) the staff has really gotten better. I don't know how to say this without rambling on or sounding psudeo-intellectual, so I'll just say I lost my grudge against you guys. I don't hate you anymore.
P.S (not related to the statement.) You may of saw me editing the other GTA Myths Wiki . I hope that you didn't misconstrue it to be anything negative. That wiki really hasn't been active since 2011 so I decided to use it as a sandbox/blank slate to warm up to editing on a topic that I am familar with. I'm not trying to create competition.
I'm not asking for any favors, I'm just asking for you to not believe a piece of fan fiction. You're a self titled expert myth hunter, you should know better when it comes to something suspcious like this.
